Summer, Music, fun all together at Tuileries Plaza

June 2008 -

The Tuilieries Plaza hosted a weekly concert series in their Fountain Courtyard every Thursday this past summer.  An overly rainy June, gave the concerts a bit of a slow start, but by the 4th week we had built momentum and were well on our way to a full house.   Every Thursday night thereafter the courtyard filled with fans of all ages who came to hear concerts that featured a collection of Kansas City’s most notable and recognized performers including Atlantic Express, The Grand Marquis, and Ida McBeth. Even the number of kids in attendance continued to grow every week, free activities and treats at the Kids’ Korner definitely helped!
